Originally from North Texas, Cris Smothermon moved to Houston, Texas to attend the University of Houston where he majored in Business Technology. Putting his education to practice, Cris built a successful professional career in the finance/accounting areas of banking, life insurance, mutual funds, and regulatory compliance analysis. But something was missing. Cris knew it was time for a life and career change, so he decided to pursue what his friends called his “true calling”: his passion for travel and real estate  

After many trips to Puerto Vallarta, Cris fell in love with this beautiful, exciting town, and decided to put down roots, purchasing a condo, and relocating permanently in November 2020.  

Buying and selling a home is one of life’s most important decisions and is often a time of excitement.  For many, it represents the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a new one.  Cris always prioritizes his client’s interests and believes this is what defines an ethical and successful real estate professional.
